I was out of school this past week on spring break and we had a big week planned BUT, 3 inches of rain the first part of the week and then a stomach virus in the middle. I finally got to feeling better on Thursday and Dad had found a bunch of Carp, Gar, and Buffalo(fish) in a flooded corn field so we decided to try them on Friday night. Our friend, Conan (fur stalker), has a nice bowfishing rig, so we hit the water at 6:30pm and They, not me, got tired of shooting at 10:30pm.....They let me do a lot of the shooting and several times, I thought I was gonna get dragged into the water. Man it was fun! We had 32 fish in the boat Friday night with the biggest at 49 lbs............We went again Saturday night for 3 hours and the air temp was about 20 degrees cooler. The fish weren't as active but it was still a great trip. Conan and Dad let myself and our buddy Robert do all the shooting.....12 fish in the boat and a biggest at 59.5 lbs...........

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Great take along, Skyler   :)   Excellent pic's as always, bows and boats are a blast, but fish like that make it even better at the end of the day   :notworthy:

hint: Some of the best garden fertilizer too, but bury them deep...

Looks like a blast to me, from the looks of your setup you two must get out often. Do you have better luck at night?
