I'm down to 3 bows, so not much of a collection, but the 1965 Ben Pearson/Golden Sovereign no-serial-number custom lefty Lord/Lady/Hunter Mercury bow is most unusual. Shoots like a bazooka, too.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

For me it is my 69' Ben Pearson Mercury Marauder td 60#@28". It is a very nice shooter to say it mildly.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

My favorite piece was my 67 kodiak Hunter. Unfortunately the top limb just let go while shooting a few days ago. My coolest piece is probably my St Charles quiver. Tony Z

My Favorite(s) right now are:

1968 Grizzly with 2 holes in the riser
1660 Kodiak
1965 Grizzly (check the classifieds)

They are the Bottom 3 on this rack

You'll live longer!

Charlie, all three good looking bows but that tigerwood 1968  Grizzly is a real looker!

Kodiak Deluxe without question...sorry I gave up trying to post pictures here some time ago

DDave
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Bjorn

Trap and I; with help from Wade and others collaborated on this one. Trap built the display and Wade Phillips, bowdoc and Jay St. Charles authenticated and cheered us on!
It almost succumbed to a bit of sandpaper!

My 69 Kodiak Hunter my dad gave me in 69 when I got home from the Marines, in 69.  It was brand new and he saved it for me when he closed up the archery shop.

The one Grumley Deerslayer I have followed by a Dogleg Kodiak Mag Type one.
Both in excellent condition.
Another very interesting piece is a Belgium Carriage bow from the mid to late 1800's.

I have posted pictures of these numerous times and at this point it would be a bit redundant.....   :knothead:

Jon, I had a '69 K Hunter, one of my all time best shooters.

I have a pair of 67.5 Super Kodiaks. One is 60" and 48#, the other 64" and 48#. Both in "perfect" condition. I'd post pic's if I could ever figure out Photo-bucket.

I have been pondering the question of which bow is my favorite for two weeks now, and have come to the conclusion that my bows are like my grandchildren, I really do not have a favorite.  But I can say that I catch myself gazing at the rack that holds the 1959 through 1962 Kodiaks, Kodiak Specials, and Kodiak Deluxes the most.  The 62 KS with the lively glass color and deep brown rosewood really grabs the eye.  And to think, at one time I could not understand what Fred was thinking when he chose that color.

Brad, if I had a penny for every minute I've spent scanning the boards for a 62 KS in hunting weight, I could buy it if I find one.   :D   A truly distinct and handsome bow and a thoroughbred shooting machine.
