Very nice cacciatore!

I'm new to the Bear TDs but loving this Red Stripe:

Jon Stewart

Besides *****, where would someone look for a Bear takedown? They are great looking bows.

Bowwild

Felix,
That boar is a wild looking beast!

tukudu

One of the best I have shot, Type 2 with RER limbs.

Bishop, I love the new Red Stripe also. I have had nothing in the way of major problems like some claim. It is a given that the New Bear would have some growing pains. Here is a great article that was very informative about the New Bear Archery direction :  http://arrowtrademagazine.com/articles/may_11/May2011-BearAimsToRecaptureTraditionalGlory.pdf

Tom my Red Stripe has been flawless, love the bow.

Nice article, thanks for the link.

Bowwild

I thought the Red Stripe was great also.  I prefer just a tad bit more narrow grip throat though so I traded mine.

tomwatson

Zepnut, tell us a little more about that Mark St. John riser. I never knew that there was a Bear TD clone out.

Rumor has it that Mike St John made 4 or 5 them back in the late 90's. The riser looks better in person than the photos.

Tom
Great article on the new Bear line. Hopefully they can maintain a strong standard and be competitive in a tough market. Lots of great bowyers out there.
Felix
Recently got back from visiting your country. Great food and wine with LOTS of pretty women. I think you have the best of attitudes. Hunting the Western US with Very Nice vintage Bear Archery gear and returning home with great stories.
Ahhhhh the Good Life!!

OBXarcher

I have sold a couple over the last year I wish I could have back. Got a couple keepers now. Great bows, lots of history to them.

Nice photos OBXarcher. I plan on hunting with my Red Stripe this year as my go to bow. I have had my eye on a Bubinga, but I am going to wait. Who knows what Bear might introduce next year? I loved the look of the Supreme, too bad they couldn't bring that one back.

Add me to the list.  Got a '04 A riser with #1 limbs and it is smooth and accurate.  Just happens to be the same year I decided to go back to traditional too!

Tom,
Were going to continue the Red Stripe and Bubinga models and maybe add a Bubinga with black caps using Black Dymondwood or Ebony. We have made a few prototypes and both look pretty good. Its still early yet and were trying new things all the time so maybe that will change. I'll try to post some pics if possible.
