I just thought I would share a few pictures of the bear I shot the evening of June 12.He is the largest bear I have shot to date and should score well into the 20's and weighed close to 400lbs. by all estimates.I hope you enjoy the pics.

I dont have the pics posted on another site to be able to put up here yet, but I got back from New Brunswick sun evening after a sucessfull bear hunt.

Night one went out about 4:30 and had a bear walking in 30 min later, he paced back and forth around the bait site staying 30-80yd out. I finally got tired and set down after a couple hours of this and he walks in right under me 20yds. The stand I was in had limbs tied to it to help break up your outline and I decided to take the shot sitting since he was right there in the open. Well I picked a spot, drew, and released just fine, but I forgot to look at the bottom limb of my sarrells longbow before the shot. KAPOW!!! Bottom limb hit and the arrow went right between his feet!!

Next evening back out at the same time. Look down under me and bear standing there, he turns around gets downwind and blows out of there!! Dang! In a few min i hear something under me again and he is back and goes back to the same spot and takes off again!! I stand up and he turns around and walks right back in. Head goes behind a tree and start the draw, finish as he comes out, picked a tuft of hair behind his shoulder and let fly hitting just above where I was looking. he lets out a roar and takes off but crashes into deadfall about 60yds out and barely makes it out the other side before fallin for good. I am pumped and my easton axis with 125 magnus stinger is sitting in a tree by the barrel.

Shot was 13yds, bow was a sarrels blackhills 44@28 with camo axis 500 and magnus stingers. Bear was a boar weighing about 275lbs.

Will try and get some pics put up somewhere so I can post.

Went out this evening to the river bottom to cool off a bit and ran into a bunch of pigs, caught this little guy bringing up the rear. Used the same setup as my bear.
