now then ... today I'm in the mood to step in here too - but I'll spare you my pets, car, bike, house, horse, trophys, wife and children etc etc and go straight ahead ...
 
... here I am with a self made yew selfbow (70#@28)
I think this was taken in 2003, but I like it somehow. Add more grayish spots on top and it fits nicely ...

 
this pic shows me with my old reliable Jeffrey LB (63#@28) back in 1985. As you all might notice I had longer hair back then (see neck) and did not need glasses ... but otherwise not that much different. Most important: one clearly can see which way I was supposed to go or already had in my mind   :)

This is a picture of My two Grandsons and Myself. Iam the Old Gray haired One in the middle. Jacob is on the left and Dylan is on the right. They are 11 years old and 13 years old, both are going to be mighty fine Archers, of course Grandpa had nothing to do with the fact thou. They both shoot Bows that I have made for them. Iam one LUCKLY fellow to have such GREAT Grandsons....ONE SHOT...  :D    :D    :D    :D    :D    :D

The Kid is 6' 3" Tall and weighs 230#. He was voted number 3 Basketball Center on the AAU Hoops program in the U.S.A., He is going into the 8Th. grade this Fall. The High School, College and Pro Basketball Scouts are already keeping an eye out for Him.

AS for His Deer Hunting experiences, He has already killed three Deer, last year in Missouri during the Youth Deer Hunt He shot a 6 point Buck with My Ruger Super Redhawk 44 Mag. Pistol, at a distance of 35 yards.

This season He is going to get to drag out His own Deer all by Himself....ONE SHOT...  :D    :D    :D    :D    :D
