Dano got screwed!!

Well, I just got my "bow-swap" bow in the mail from Dano......all I can say is that DANO GOT SCREWED!!

Most of you know that Dano can sure work magic with a piece of Osage and this bow is a FINE example of that.

I'll try and get a few pictures for you tomorrow, but in the meantime a "mental" picture will have to do. It is a beautiful piece of wood, slightly "flipped" tips, snakeskin (bull snake??) on the back, cocobola (?) tip overlays, and a beautiful hand-stiched leather grip. Not to mention the finish....Dano is a master at putting the final touch on a bow! The best thing of all.......IT SHOOTS RIGHT WHERE I'M LOOKING!! Yep.......DANO GOT SCREWED!!!

Well what did you trade? I can agree with everything you have said about Dano's talent. I to made a trade with him awhile back and my bow is awsome.

LOL - and we didn't think anyone was lookin' - actually you are supposed to be looking at the four arrows from Dano, me, Chuck (snakewood3)Sinclair, and Bill Pearce (the other guy in my avatar).

I have a Dano Snakey Osage bow Beauty also (I just love saying that!) Come to think of it, my two Greatgranddaughters each have one too - and they all are just as beautiful as you say.

Brazos River snake huh? No wonder it didn't look quite right.

All I know Dano is I took that bow to the indoor range last night and I spent a good 30 minutes wiping the "drool" off of it! :D

I've seen Doug's bows, and I would do back flips for one he made.{well, maybe not back flips cause that would hurt, but ya get my meaning).Can't wait to see both of you again at OJam this year. Hey, maybe Dano can do a bow finish siminar this year?

Dano's, first bow was was just after Adam took a bite of the apple. A week sooner and the world would of been considerably different.

Aw - Dano's just a kid - he just looks older in photos, wait'll you see him in person - looks like a kid with grey hair and a mus'n-touch-it. Come to think on it - he acts like one too - up and down the hils, across vale and stream, etc., running half the time - sheesh!
