Im pretty new to trad and starting to build my own arrows.Looking for some advice on a good set up kit or books on wood and aluminum.

Well, I don't know from diddly, but Im starting my first batch of wood arrows this weekend, hope to have them finished next week.   I document most things I do and learn on my web site so I'll have a record and because inevitably other folks chime in and I learn more.   So if you want to follow along, drop me a line at rwightman@mindspring.com

Seeing as you're from Latham,  you should try Lemme's archery shop on central ave.  The new owner is a trad shooter and will be able to set you up well.  He makes a pretty decent arrow to boot.

We're neighbors BTW,  I live in Niskayuna.
