After John's passing, did anyone ever take over his bow making business? I thought I had heard someone was going to. I would order another 21st clone if so. Thanks.

I had breakfast with a good bowhunting buddy in Wisconsin Rapids last Wednesday and he had heard John's sons had parted with John's equipment. Maybe I can ask around on the 22nd at the Wisconsin Trad Banquet. I spent quite a bit of time with John but never knew his sons very well.

Bigriver

Johns bow making equipment is gone. No one wanted the forms or small amount of equipment he had. Pretty much ended Bigriver bows. Forms went in the trash. Some things were sold. There are still some  bows around for sale, I know I can find a few if someone is interested.

I'm always on the lookout for Lefty 21st century clones in the 40-45 lb range and 66" or longer. Thanks

I have three of Johns 21 Century type bows, 43#66" with a cabon lam, 51#66" and 55#64". They shoot great and I always come back to them after bouncing around with other bows. Glad I never considered selling them. Too bad his bows weren't continued. The two ASL's John made for me are also great shooters. Reminded of John every time I shoot and hunt with his bows.
