I haven't hunted with a gun for any species since it became legal to use a bow during the deer firearm season in Wisconsin a few years back.

No, I enjoy carrying a rifle now and then. It's been a family tradition since I started in 1967. Not many in the family left, so my son and I keep it going.

Last year I hunted only with a bow. The year before I hunted with an old .303 Savage 99, just because I wanted to shoot a deer with that old classic. So it depends. I generally enjoy bowhunting more.

I gave up my guns in the 90's for deer hunting. In Georgia, we have a 4 month long deer season, and you can bowhunt the entire time.

I've hunted with family the opening of firearms season for as long as I can remember. 2 days and then back to the bow by myself for the rest of the year.

I hunt with my bow throughout the season. I do like runnin and gunnin for spring turkey on  public land though.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Here in IA bow season is closed during gun season.

I do more than I don't, when I don't it's with one of the Flintlocks that I've made, or a Ruger No. 1 single shot. I only get one shot no matter what I hunt with.

Been doing that for 30 years. Can't tell when the last time I shot a gun was.

It's closed in MO also, but you can hunt with bow if you buy a firearms tag.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Mostly bow nowadays, but depends on how my season is going. I also go with my son for a couple days with rifle. He doesn't bow hunt and only gets 4-5 days to hunt during gun season. Haven't even taken the ML out in years, opting for the bow.
