My wife found this cleaning some stuff up. Me during early bow in the Adirondacks of NY. I think early 90's, tough hunting in that part of the world. Still have the hat and the shirt.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Memories are priceless!  Wish I had some pics of early years, most was solo hunting prior to ease of picture taking.

I love photo's from the past!

For some reason, I started taking a camera in 1978 and took pictures of every big game animal I took, along with logging the information  in the back of a Mississippi State University planner that I had picked up on campus. Then I bought photo albums and placed the pictures with a note on the back of almost all of them about the place and year. I still do that to this day (same 1978 MSU planner)

I often wonder what drove me to do all of that; but I immensely enjoy going through the albums and logs to relive those hunts. I know that one day in the not to distant future....those memories will be my 'hunting'

Great picture and thanks for sharing it with us!

Growing up, my dad wasn't a picture taker and I wish he had been. I really cherish the few I have of hunts back then.

Pictures are worth way more than a thousand words.
