Should I send it back?

I searched the forum and YouTube. Lots of info on the Black Hunter longbow but nothing about limbs being as far out as mine. I was hoping someone with more experience could give me advice. I set the brace height of my new 55# BH at 7 3/8" and measured tiller 18 1/2" from each limb tip (where the front and back laminates join). There's almost a full inch of difference and you can see in the picture that the top limb doesn't show any recurve at all while the bottom is still set. I watched a guy take 1/8" of tiller out of this bow but 7/8"?! I don't know how much poundage I would lose doing that. Do you think it's better to just send it back and try again? I don't have the tools to measure the draw weight right now so I don't know if they gave me a lower poundage upper limb. Don't know how that could happen but it sure looks wonky to me. I'm open to suggestions or advice. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to chime in.

You don't really want to know what I think of Black Hunters. I would send it back and buy a good bow.1

I'd send it back personally.

Send it to Shane and Nik at Great Plains Bows for a rework. They have done lots of them. Re tiller, reshape grips and narrow tips. Radius sight window and shelf, trap the limbs.

Yeah get a rework from good Bowyer to what it should have been to start with.
How much for a rework?

Thanks everybody. I also noticed the string kept trying to roll off one side of the lower limb tip. It looks like they notched the tip at too steep an angle on one side and, on the belly, it's 1/8" lower that the other notch. I've packaged the bow and asked Amazon for a replacement. I know, fool me once... but it's kinda where I'm at financially until I finish flight school. If the replacement is just as bad, I'll probably be looking for something like a used Montana. I've had a recurve and I just want to shoot a longbow for a while and see how I like it. Sorry to hijack a thread for making bows, but I appreciate y'all's opiinion very much. Thank you.

Hope you have better luck with the replacement.

I bought one a few years ago to see what the big deal was with them.

It was a pretty good one I guess as it was balanced pretty well , but I never shot it much, and finally sold it last year after loaning it a few times.

I'd keep sending them back if the next is like that.

A new bow should be right or sent back.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Thanks Kenny. The replacement has balanced limbs. The string is about an inch short but I can pick up a FF. Those are some gorgeous lams on your website by the way.  :clapper:
