Fred Anderson longbow question.

Does anyone know if Fred built a model called the chief as seen in the picture below? Wondering if it was one of his pre stressed bows? Unknown timeframe for the build?

That's not the model, but the name of the individual bow. Every bow was named. Definitely FA handwriting.

Looks like a Skookum model.

Yes Fred did not use serial numbers but gave names to each bow as WDELongbow said.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.
