I need to post a picture of a crack in a bow I'm building. I'm going to try an attachment. If it posts OK, my question is: the longitudinal crack is about 12" long and runs through the non working handle. Should I Super Glue it or use it for kindling?

Super glue and keep on keeping on. You may have to add the glue in a few sessions.

THe way the check runs through the handle I think I use a cordage handle wrap after the handle is shaped. I use thin hemp cord from Walmart, tightly wrapped around the handle then set it in Massey finish(2ton epoxy thinned with acetone). This makes a weather proof wrap that you can get a good purchase on.

here I use a rolled up paper towel dipped in the Massey finish and used to saturate the hemp cord wrap. After the epoxy cures out you can sand it with sand paper and add more Massey if necessary.
