attachment not loading

i've tried loading pictures according to the video on Tradgang and it keeps telling me "the attachment hasn't been loaded yet".  i've downsized the picture to 480 x 640, isn't that small enough? Then it just sits there, i get no error msg or anything. what am i doing wrong?
