It's turning out really well Kirk. I wouldn't hesitate to do another one.

You can have em bro.... Next guys that asks me again for a two piece, i'm going to pass. The last two i build using the steel sleeve system were a pain in the arse to build, and i've had issues with both of them making noise after awhile when drawing the bow. no movement or anything... just a creaking sound now and then. Typically you just use paraffin wax on them and that takes care of it for awhile. but it's just one more thing to deal with.... Glad to hear your system is working well for you...  Kirk

I do two complete wraps of glass then two wraps of carbon (black) then when shaping  if you see carbon it's time to stop.

No Kenny, I textured the grip then sprayed it with several coats of black plastic-dip.

kennym

Awesome! I bought a can of bed liner for a grip but never put it on and it finally dried up. LOL

The VHT Wrinkle Coat works pretty well with a heat gun. I cut my hunting bow in half today and turned it into a two-piece so I'll try it on that one.

JG that is an outstanding handle, fine work.

Thanks Stic. I enjoy the challenge of new projects. I'm going to attempt the bolt together two-piece next time.

Crooked Stic

I guess they are all good. But they wrapped socket to me is more cost effective and plenty strong
