People asked and 3Rivers answered.  Autumn Orange shafts are back.  I usually shoot cedar shafts, but I'm tempted to get some aluminums.  :bigsmyl:

I wish they had kept the swaged nocks like the originals.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Love it.  Like David I wish they would have left em swaged .  Probably going to have to upgrade....  :biglaugh:

I just ordered a half dozen. Can't wait to try them out. I've never tried arrows with uni bushings. They're coming with super nocks.  I'm not sure how well they will fit on my current string, but worst case scenario, I'll just have to tinker with some new serving.

They are already out of 1916's, the lightest spine and no back orders!

I am proud they are making them again. Hard not to love aluminum.

I like the uni bushing better than the glue on.

I am shooting the 2117 out of my recurves and 2018 out of longbows.

Easton doesn't offer swag shafts, and I don't know anyone that still does. I don't believe you can even get it done aftermarket either. Could be wrong there though.

The 1916 and 2219 have not come in yet. I do not have a date either on when to expect them yet either.

If you know anyone that offers swag as a service let me know.

Used to shoot these in late 70's from my Howard Hill Tembo.
Would like to try them again from my Shrew Classic Hunter II Carbon, cut to center.
48.5 pounds @29" and drawing 29".  29.5" long and 200 grain point.  Shaft size thoughts??

I wish they were longer. 32" stock length doesn't do a bit of good for those of us with longer draw lengths. 34" would be ideal, especially for the 2219s

I've had good luck with that set up with 2016. I'm probably going to order 2018 and 2016. I like these spines. I have both swaged and the newer. I like the new for nock adjustment.

We always ask for the longest we can get on any arrow shaft. It is a bummer, I wish all the models were the same length at least. We will keep asking when we work on projects like this though.

Hermon

I'm curious as to why 1916's in the camo hunters take a X nock and the Autumn Orange 1916's take a G nock?

DawgDoc

I've recently gotten back into aluminum after not shooting them since '99 and have really been enjoying them. I have been squirreling away some vintage patterns because as a teenager my mentor always shot a quiver full of mismatched patterns and to me it was cool. Been making my quiver look like that lately.

3rivers - Awesome! thank you for listening and thank you for bringing them back I ordered some today! Now I just need a run of Trebark camo and a run JDA Serpents...

Thank you 3Rivers.  Four dozen on the way to ND... back before my hair wasn't white the quiver was full of XX75 Autumn Orange arrows.  Now days Its more like a hobo outfit mismatched anything and everything... Think Ill build up a dozen and fill the quiver again.  AAAHHHHH I feel better already.. :biglaugh:[attachment=1]

Herdbull

Yes I've always like the XX75 2219. I use 32" arrows as well. Mike
