Had a fellow request this combo and sent him a pic.
So he wanted the other pair !
Glued them yesterday and sliced and ground them today.

I like em !

Very nice Kenny, I've always thought about doing it . Just never did it. Nice job. Great colored combination bud. JF

Not a look that I find attractive, but I appreciate the labor and craftsmanship that went into making them.

Bows could get pretty boring if we all liked the same look!

Ooo, who, who hangs free

Does that osage darken up a lot under clear glass?  I'd be interested in seeing the finished product on this set of veneers.   Kirk

Yes, it will darken, don't know if they make a UV resistant finish that will keep it yellow.  Think they will look good even when the ydarken tho...

For my hunting, I dislike osage  til it darkens a few years...

Really doesn't take very long for it to start darkening. It's pretty cool though. You get two different looks of a bow that changes in time. JF

Yep, I built myself a TD recurve and had it around for a year or so. Took the limbs off one day and where they were bolted to riser hadn't faded. Wow!! :saywhat:

Mark, you must have better finish than me, mine darkened a lot. I think I have a 62" all osage, will see if I can find it. It's brown...
