Here is one I just made for a long time Trad Gang follower and she's headed to Texas.
I forged the blade from a 1 1/8" round bar of W1 and clay processed it for a hamon.
The handle is what I refer to as "utility grade" Desert Ironwood.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

That one is easy to look at.

Even plain ole boring ironwood is always a looker.  Its easily one of my favorite handle materials.

Even utility grade ironwood is beautiful. I love that stuff.

I would be proud to carry that knife afield.

Simply beautiful. Never get tired of looking at Karl's work. This Texan wishes this beauty was heading his way.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
