I have noticed there are some bows you very rarely find on the used market.  Big River for one.  MOAB by Thunder stick is another.  I know they are no longer being made.

I hardly ever see Green Mountain or Saxon bows on the market. If I did, I'd be a much poorer man.

That's how I feel about Big River granted John didn't make that many per year.

Seems like the next one I'm after!!!  :biglaugh:  :bigsmyl:  :biglaugh:
Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Generally speaking, bows made in smaller numbers are harder to find and that certainly applies to very fine ones. Conversely there are some exceptional bows that quite a few of have been produced that can be found pretty easily.

I mentioned in one of my posts. I almost never see a Blacktail  for sale

Wudstix

I'm glad I have the two Big River bows I do, a recurve and a D/R longbow both @66#.  Also a MOAB as a backup bow @64#.

These days a Rose Oak is pretty scarce.  Beautiful bows.

I'm a lucky guy that owns two Green Mountain longbows.

Here is one you never see for sale: Lonetree longbows, I have the Ocelot model, it is a fantastic longbow.

Seems like those who own an Ed Scott now hang on to them.

There are a ton of different offerings on AT in the trad classified section.   I've seen a few Blacktail over the years and I've bought and traded Big Jim's and Tall Tines and Widows.
Kind of like Portobello Road.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

OK, I will be the smart guy. Only bows hard to find for me is the one I am looking for!

Trenton G.

I never see Abbott's. Would love to have a back up for the one I have now but I can't find any.

Silent footed

Probably don't mean a thing to anyone but me, but I like the Kentuckian longbows, made by, I believe Roy McIntosh. Would like to have another one one day in addition to my current daily shooter.

old_goat2

The ones I want that are long enough to draw to 31" that aren't too high in draw weight!

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

Anything left handed.
Bill Stewart signature multi cam t/d recurve. Or an Owen Jeffery t/d recurve.

I have to agree with Trenton..  I still have my very first traditionally ordered 1993. longbow  from Steve Abbott which is the bow that I took my first ever whitetail deer with ! It's 60#@27 which is a bit much for me these days. I also miss my Shadow bows as well. They haven't been built for years as far as I know ? Anybody have one ?  :bigsmyl:
