This makes no sense to me but I can't ignore the results .
My bow is a black widow PLX, 51@28 inches. I draw 28".
I had a CX 250 test shaft sent and got it to tune, but I didn't like the final weight of them. I like a heavier shaft.
Here's the part I don't understand ... I have a overabundance of CX 350 shafts I use on my other bows,so I figured "what the heck, I'll give it a try.
These shafts  should not be able to work with my current set up, but they did. I shot them full length with the standard aluminum insert with a 250 tip and they bare shaft great out to 20 yards.. how does that happen with such a stiff shaft?

The same way my Wes Wallace Mentor at 47# loves GT .400 spine with 145 gr points. They should be much stiffer but aren't. All of my other 45# bows like .500s and hate .400s.

Calcs don't indicate that the CX350...full length...250 gn point should be stiff.

Would suspect that 300 gn point...~15# underspined....may give you superior flight

frassettor....typically my best bareshaft planning tune is achieved at a dynamic spine of approximately 15#'s underspined.

A 300 gn point would have you close to 15#'s under.
