195x Crescenzo Forte static recurve

An example of what was happening our side of the pond back in the day.
Crescenzo Forte worked with Richard Galloway together & followed by George Birnie -
they are considered as the progenitors of todays Border Archery.

Crescenzo emigrated to the USA in the mid '50s & i believe went to work as a bowyer
for Amarco (I hope to confirm these details shortly).

Galloway Archery Products started to market "The Forte" from circa '56 (so that may be the emigration year)
the "recurve" on the left being possibly based on the above design
& somewhere when I refind it there is an article that says this was named as a tribute to him.

Very, very cool! Just screams "old school" like the Bear statics.
