Finished this one up the other day. Spruce Pinecone and white resin. Natural micarta pins and liners. Probably give it to my Dad as a Father's Day present.

That has to be one of the most beautiful knives I've ever see.

Thanks Kingstaken!! Many "traditional knifemakers" seem to shy away from using these type of materials and I've gotten some negative comments from them. But the pinecone knives I've made have sold quickly and people love them. So I'll continue to make them. I have a set of orange spruce pinecone scales that are gonna be really nice.

Here's another one that I did. It looks black in the picture but it really had a lot of blue in it. Thanks again for your kind comment. Appreciate it very much.

love that white pinecone, that's the prettiest pinecone I've seen.. I had a custom made with the green/red pinecone and didn't really care for it after I got it in my hands ended up giving it to my step-son.

That white pine cone sure is nice.

Nice looking knife. I've made a few with the pine cone scales, but never used white before. After seeing this one I'll have to give it a try.

I agree with everyone else, that's a great looking knife!

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Amazing..!   I think you are onto something there.  How did you do that.

I didn't make the scales they were purchased from a supplier. They work like any other handle material. Working on a knife for a friend now that has orange pinecone scales and I think it will turn out nice. I'll post pics when I get it done. Really appreciate everyone's comments on the knife. Thank guys!!
