LA Bowfishing!!!

I made it to South Louisiana, Port Sulphur to be exact, to get after the redfish last saturday night. It sure is nice to be able to bowfish for good eating fish. We had 11 shooters on 2 boats, and I was the only trad bow shooter. I ended up with a limit of redfish, a sheephead, and my first stingray! (no pic of stingray, as they threw it back before I had a chance to get a pic)

 

I got a feeling that supper is going to be mighty fine this evening! I'm thinking grilled redfish on a bed of rice with etoufee topping!!!

Redfish are definitely good, but sheephead are one of my favorite! Looks like a good night.

That is some nice sized Reds. I have to agree with Allen, I much prefer sheephead, but reds are good too.
