I went on my annual South Texas javelina and pig hunt this past week. The javelina came out to play, but the pigs were a no show. I got a few bunnies and a nice javelina!

Yes Randy, it was on a private ranch just north of Laredo.

And for your wife, tell her Bisch said that javis are God's gift to a stalking bowhunter!

Congrats Bisch,  It looks as if it wasn't too hot.  I hate the heat, but then again I dont care for cold either lol.

Nice Javi, they seem to look like an animal made with the bowhunter in mind.
Relax,

Looks like a blast!

Thanks for sharing!
For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

They look like a fun animal to hunt, wish we had them over here... Then again I shouldn't complain we do have year round hunting...

Nice hog, mean Javelina looks bigger than most. About those arrows, in the picture they look as long as the bow, what camera/lens are you using to take pictures? Pointing a broadhead at the camera, might be interesting. Just curious.

We were goofing around and I moved back about 6' behind the javi for that pic! When I loaded it, I could not se the phone very well (my screen saver is all scratched up, and did not realize that was the pic i was posting. The arrows are only 29", valley of nock to back of point. It is an average size javi sow. The camera was an iPhone 5.

Here is a regular pic:
