Nice video here, contains a lot of my personal history within it's story! Served with a couple of the pilots featured. Got a little sad feeling after watching it because that's all it is now for me, is history! I have a good job post retirement from the Navy, but making beer and pop cans by the millions doesn't mean much on the national stage by comparison!Angle Of Attack -  "How Naval Aviation Changed The Face Of War":

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

David, what years were you in the Navy? I served in the Army from 1966 thru 1969 and the young people think that is ancient history. Air support was critical in the Vietnam War and saved many lives.

Probably a long shot, but did you ever know Tom Newell, A4 driver that retired out as a Captain.  Ring knocker that would have still been in during your earlier years in service.
If you don't like cops, next time you need help, call Al Sharpton

No, name doesn't ring a bell at all but could of still deployed with him, lot of people on a carrier.  Hard to believe how many people I met at some point along the way in my career and figured out we were on a deployment together in different squadrons etc..
