Tuesday our son Mike and I got the chance to hunt together. I picked him up on my way to our lease and we got there at about 3:30 in the afternoon and our woods is at the back of a 120 acre corn field so we about a 3/4 of mile to walk every year unil the land owner picks that field. at about 4;20 I am in my stand and all set up my son TXTs me he is at his stand and ready as well. His stand is on the edge of the corn field with a good amount of deer sign and has a logging trail coming by at 10 yards that leads through the Prop. and is a great travel route for the deer. At about 4:35 I get a phone call it is Mike I thinking he forgot something at home or something But he is all excited and tells me just made a great shot on a big doe after just 20 minutes in the stand.  Keep in mind Mike is 29 now and he has been hunting since he was 12 and he still gets so excited about every deer he takes. Yeah I am still proud to show off his kills and was more than happy to go help him retrieve the deer (only went 80 yards)and celebrate it with him. Mike shoots one of our 56" recurves 55@28

Congrats Mike and Dave!  That's a great looking doe.  Thanks for sharing

Awesome! Congrats to your son and you also on being a great example.
So I assume you make starter/youth bows for young kids??  My oldest son just turned 4 but has shown interest in watching me shoot my recurve in the back yard. Would like to get him started in the spring possibly if bows are made light enough for him to pull.

Yeah will have something for him. Call when you are ready. The one Liam has in his hand is 11@22. If you are at Kalamazoo in January bring him by our booth and check them out

Congrats to your son on his kill!  Very nice, and have heard great things about your bows.  I'll definitely do my best to make it to Kzoo in January to check 'em out.
