Last Weekend of Deer Season!

I got to go down to the lease for the last weekend of deer season. It was spike and doe only. On Sat evening I had a gaggle of pigs come in right before dark and shot a nice 75# eater sow. Here's the pic:

 

Then on Sun morning I had a big doe and a couple of fawns come into my set-up. The doe made the mistake of standing slightly quartering away from me at about 12yds. Here is the pic of the 95# doe:

 

I shot both these critters with my Sarrels Blueridge takedown longbow (50#@29.5"), GT 55/75 arrows and GK SilverFlame XL broadheads.

Way to go Bisch! The only problem I see is that you always seem to hunt alone. I'd be happy to help you fix that situation. LOL Congrats on a great season and good luck in Africa this year.

Wayne, I actually had a lease buddy there with me last weekend. He shot a doe with the smoke pole and two pigs with the wheel bow.
