Wind conditions had limited my stand choices yesterday evening and I felt my best option was a brush choked funnel above some apple trees that were seeing some action.

A half hour before dark 5 deer slipped off the ridge headed toward my stand.

I let the first 4 go by and single out the one bringing up the rear.  I stopped her broadside at about 12 yards from the base of my tree.  Another short recovery.

Bear Grizzly 60# @ 28"   30" Easton 400 tipped with a 150 Grain Rothhaar Sunffer.  Same arrow and broadhead that I sent through the doe on the 11th.

Putting the hurt on those does-way to go!
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.
