Ok, if you haven't already checked out Fastpic.ru I suggest you do so before getting on board.

You might find as I did that you quickly get redirected to this phoney page

Another thing to ask yourself is why does the app tell you near nothing about where your photos go.  How does their system work.  How do you access your photos that you have shared via their site.

Google play may include the app in their store but that is no guarantee that it is clean nor does it guarantee that they won't include malware in their future updates.

I have been using FP for nearly two months now and have never been redirected anywhere.  

Perhaps when you were checking out the website you clicked on a link within the site that has nothing to do with hosting.  I went to the FastPic website this morning to check for myself.  There is a ton of stuff on there....and very little in english.

I will never trust any web hosting outfit to keep my images safe.  Perfect example currently before our eyes here at TG....  a mad scramble to find that which was lost (or hidden) and get it posted without having to pay ransome.

Like anywhere else within the vast cyberworld, a person  needs to use a common sense approach.

The link I posted was a pop-up on my phone that came up on the page fastpic.ru.  it's the kind that doesn't let you leave the page.  It purports to be an Amazon site by virtue of a "lifted" Logo.

You see any of this when using the Fastpic app.  You will get a clearer picture if you go to fastpic.ru.

Maybe I'm the only one who sees it this way.

I did go there again yesterday after I made my last post.  Still can't replicate your issue however i did not click on anything.

The thought occurred to me that my phone is running McAffee LifeSave.  

Maybe that is making a difference??

I will move this back to the Powwow and issue a recall.  I did not have the experience that you did but this evening I ran into another problem.  

 This app takes us into a dark corner!    

To be on the safe side, Delete any images links you have posted / saved.

Imgur works great! There is a good how-to on that program in the "Computers" forum.  Very easy!

If you need any help, just give me a shout...i can talk you thru it.

If you need pics posted now, shoot them to me and I will post for you as you are getting used to the process.
