Just wondering if the mods have talked about setting up a mobile site? I'm not sure what that entails but being a daily user and checking on my iPhone it would sure be nice.  I'm not complaining, just curious.

hi ryan,

good suggestion!  that would be neat, but we're already spread thin and weary just keeping the big ship afloat and headed on the good course,

Thanx!

Well I just thought I'd throw it out there.  Wish I knew how I could help, I'd be willing.  You guys do a great job!

Rob DiStefano

it would require a totally separate sister website that would get updated by the parent site.

ryped,

I can view TG on my BB pretty easily, so with the superior browser you have on your iPhone you shouldn't have any problems viewing the site.

Yeah I agree.  It works great on the iPhone just takes a while to load the headers and pics etc.  I wasn't sure what it would take to make such a site but like Rob said it would be quite an undertaking.

Like we say to the cook at deer camp, It's just the way I like it!

It seems to me like the restriction is technically surrounding the forum software company  (UBB) has not developed a mobile friendly theme for their product. There are free forum products that have them like SMF but that is not compatible with UBB. It might only be a matter of time until UBB catches up.

trad gang is powered by the long since grandfathered and unsupported ubb classic, not ubb threads.  there will be no mobile friendly ubb classic.

No loss for me. I don't do mobile phones.
