Did these come from Homer Simpson's nuke plant lake?

we have a pike without eyes in our private lake. doesnt bother him at all, we caught (and released) him 8 times in the last 10 years, even on lures.

I shot a carp with no eyes a few weeks ago in IL.  He looked perfectly healthy (until he met my Muzzy) so it evidently was not holding him back.  One side did not have an eye cavity of any kind.  The other side had a small indentation where the eye should have been.

One of my first bowfishing trips many years ago my dad shot a carp with one eye.  He was on his blind side when he shot.  Carp never knew what was coming.

One of the three that I shot this year was eyeless on one side. I blind sided him too. I'm tell'n ya! I don't know how these guys are bringing home barrels full of them. They are fast! I swear they are jumping the string!

I shot a blind carp on the creek this year. Missed him coming by then he swam right back at me. That was that. Seemed liked he was doing ok.
