Sinew Backed Mulberry Bow

Great job on the bow.  Good to see some self bows on this site again, seems all the old builders/contributers have left or just don't post much anymore.  Keep up the great work.

Nice job, yes Ilike sinew it just takes so long to do.Shoe polish works great.My first 2 bows were sinew backed black locust they still shoot.Yes it is great stuff.Back then I water proffed mine with vafane works great by the way.When I started 18 years ago I water proffed all my bows with it.Try it out if you never tryed it.Puts a  thin plactic coating over it.Comes in a spray can 2 coats your done.Won't crack with use ,last forever.Now I do it a simpbler way ,and this will work on sinew also.It only takes wax and a hair dryer.After you stain it the color you want.Just melt it into the pours.Do it couple times a year or more if you wish.You can't put to much.
