Im ordering my first set of supplies and see that bingham recommends a heat strip system. Does anyone use this?  And is there alternatives?

Brett, If you are gonna build only a few bows there are alternative methods of curing glue that are less expensive.  A good bow can be assembled with less complicated systems. I believe Bingham offers different options.     Pat

If you have the extra $300.00 to spend it would be nice to have. a big space saver over the heat box.

or you could build a heat box for about $60.00

Heat box can be used for other things such as preheating your laminations, storing your form components, and multiple size forms.  You'll more than likely need multiple heat strips if you want to do take-downs, as well as one piece and longbows.
