Integral Knife and Utility Hatchet Set

Knife is made from mirror polished 5/8 inch thick D2 bar stock with red stabilized buckeye burl inlay. 4 1/2 inch long and .300 inch thickness at the blade, 9 1/2 inch OAL. Rockwell: 61C

Hatchet came from 1/2 inch bar stock D2 with 4 inch cutting edge. Mirror polished. Overall length is 13 1/2 inches. Hatchet shaft is tapered down toward the handle to add weight forward. G10 was laminated between the burl scales to help absorb shock loads for the hatchet handle.
