Here are a couple I finished up in the last few weeks.

First one, 1084, Ironwood with a brass guard and pins with red liners.

1084, Elk antler scales, red liners and stainless guard and bolsters.

Good Lord, not sure why the pictures are so huge.

Nice work KSCATTRAPR ! What would a knife like the one with elk horn handle cost ?

Yes - you need to re-size those pictures. They far exceed the forum limits.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

If you are looking for a knife, you can't do better than Caley.  I bought one and it is nice, solidly built and holds an edge, besides being nice to look at to boot.

You'll notice the "luckiest" elk hunters have worn out boots.

Is that Ironwood also known as Hop-Hornbeam?
If so, it's not just an ordinary piece.
Nice work!
