Large Laddered W blade

I should have this big knife finished before long. The blade is 12-1/2 inches. Here is a "before" photo of the blade. It took me many hours to get to that point.

It is always amazing how plain those blades look until the etching is done. Can you see any of the detail in it when you are looking at it in person before etching?
