Good day, all.  Here's a little knife I just finished that's made from an old American-made Nicholson file an old farmer-friend in the area gave me.  I forged the blade pretty close to shape, but there wasn't much thickness to work with.  It's 7 3/8 in OAL with a 3 1/2" blade sanded out to 400.  The spine/jimping/tang has been sanded to 600.  It has rosewood scales with a gentle palm swell.   The fully-welted sheath has a removable belt loop for horizontal carry.  The whole shootin' match is far from perfect, but I learn a bunch with each new knife.  Thanks for looking!

Sweet little slicer, I'll bet. Nice.

Man thats nice, kind of makes me want to make one from a file next. Great job on the sheath as well.

I really like that design and blade profile. I'd take on an elk with that blade, no questions asked.

Thanks, gents. It does slice pretty well, Lin...it bit my finger in a moment of carelessness. As my grandad used to say, "I didn't need stitches but I needed new britches!"
