I got my hands on some .080 sheets of 15N20 and had them plasma cut into this little blade. It's pretty thin so there's no forging in it. Heat treats nicely. I kept it simple and affordable as much as possible. The nice thing about this knife is that I can order several sheaths and they fit great as long as I pay close attention to the handle thickness. I've been using micarta and some wood, but decided to go with jigged bone on this one.

The cutting edge is about 3 inches and the OAL is about 7 inches. Cuts like a scalpel.

Quite possibly the perfect knife.  I love everything about this one Lin.  Simple, clean, timeless and perfect size.

As often is the case - less is best for a perfect tool.

Awesome little knife, very functional design. I love the handle!

I like this concept.  A lot of people could never afford a typical ABS Master Smith's knife.  It's nice to see someone who can easily sell knives at a premium take the time to put out a product for the average hunter.  Looks like a nice overall design.  I feel like I may be out of line criticizing a knife from someone like you, but I think it would look a little better aesthetically if the plunge line were closer to the little guard spur.  I've never cared for any kind of excess ricasso on any style of knife, but I do think that functionally this one kinda makes sense as you have room to hook your finger in front of the guard for certain tasks.

Sleek little knife, like that bone handle.

Lin,
I got your message and sent ya one back.

Lin, you make some incredible knives. This one is easily my favorite as far as functionality goes. Not too big, not too small. Just the right size to do whatever small tasks you need - skinning, gutting, quartering, butchering dinner around the campfire and it will last a lifetime to boot. Over here drooling...
