Two more I finished yesterday, ready for the trip to AR.

This first one is a 4" clay quenched W2 blade and Stabilized Koa handle.

Second is 1095 that gave up a pretty good Hamon for once. A 3 1/2" blade with rounded spine and riccaso, a nice little piece of stag with a wrought/bronze cap, and I peened the end of the tang.

Thanks for looking

I'm having trouble deciding which I like better. That Koa looks fantastic, but I'm loving the rounded 1095 spine/maker's mark, and the peened butt cap. Bet they both feel nice in the hand.

I have a piece of nice Koa I got from Craig a couple years ago up at Steve's, but haven't been able to bring myself to use it. I have a problem parting with nicely figured wood... I'm also considering getting it stabilized. Do you greatly prefer using it after stabilization?

Looking forward to hearing how Arkansas goes.

The stag knife is the ticket. Great job Doug.

Isn't that just a bit of an oxymoron "a simple integral"?

Two very nice knives.
