Neck Knives

here are a couple neck knives i just finished. now i have to make some sheaths. they are both mammoth ivory with the brown having a strip of red mammoth tooth. the strip of red mammoth tooth was a piece of scrap i had left over from the damascus knife. the steel is 1095. enjoy!

here's the sheath for one of my neck knives. it has two of the rare earth magnets in the leather to hold the blade in place.

very nice, love the filework aswell. what are the dimensions? Do the magnets actually hold the blade or the sheath closed?

REAL NICE!!!! I'd like to know about how well this woks, as I believe that a neck knife is worth its weight in gold, but I also am afraid of a super sharp knife coming loose inside my shirt, since I am afraid of it getting tied up in a bow string when hunting...

slash, i feel this knife is as secure as it can be and still be able to pull it out of the sheath. i have spun this knife/sheath around by it lanyard and it didn't slip a bit. i have 100% confidence in this system. in fact, one magnet would most likely do the job. i just wish i would have thought of it.
