Ok guys i just got my kelle blade in and im not sure how to attach the handle to the tang. My last knife was a drop point so i had plenty of steel to drill through for pins but on the helles tang is so thin. So im just not sure what to do and i really want to finish it before i have to go back to school. Please excuse my ignorance haha and any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know if you used scales on your last knife, but on the helle blades, you need to use a block of wood, drill a hole in it the length of the tang, and epoxy it in place. I usually cut the tang shorter because I don't especially like the brass nut at the end of my handles. Mike

Here's a tutorial for a knife kit similar to a Helle blade.  Lots of fun, good luck, post some pics of the knife in the end.

If you dont fasten the tang thru the handle by way of a nut, I suggest you rough up the tang with a file so the epoxy can get a good grip.
