I just finished up this knife for a late Christmas gift for my brother-in-law.  Still need to make a sheath for it.  The black walnut handle, my brother-in-law cut from some woodland I use to hunt and send it here to Chile.  I have a lot more and really like the looks as a knife handle.  This is my 7th knife I have made.  I been using old files that I buy here at the flea markets, really cheap.  Just put an order in for some O1 steel.  Hopefully I will get this in time to make a knife or two for the swap here.

Thank you everyone!!!

I will post pics of the sheath when I am finished.  Will not be anything fancy, normally I just make pouch sheath and hot wax mold them to the knife.

el oso (the bear) haha I speak spanish!!  The finish I normally use is just CA glue.  Loctite Super Bonder is what I like best.  I wipe it on with my fingers.  Normally I put on four coats, sanding smooth with 500 grit between coats.  On the final coat I little sand the high spots with 500 grit then wet sand with 1200 grit to get it glossy.  Next I buff it with some furniture polish.

I can't get it done . I've tried twice. One time I glued my thumb to my finger and the next time I glued an old pair of my boys underwear to the wood.  :banghead:

There is a lot of talent on this forum.

As requested, here are some pics of the sheath.  One day I will buy some stamps to jazz up my sheaths, until then I will keep to the simple hot waxed and form style.
