Got an Easter Rabbit...and it's not chocolate!

Went for a solo rabbit hunt this morning while Easter dinner was cooking at my parents.

Had one rabbit out sitting along the edge of a blue spruce...I went to draw and he ran around the tree, all I could see was his head. Took the shot and got him. The arrow angled through and took out his heart...so he didn't go but a few feet.

I was using my Horne Brushbow "Redtail" and my  Bunny Thumper 5/16 hickory arrows with a hex head.

Well done Drew!  Our rabbit season closed on the 15th of this month, so they had a hall pass for Easter!

I miss rabbit hunting. The only places rabbits are found where I live are right next to houses. I find it hard to ask permissin to hunt someones bushes under their living room window.
