I've been enjoying remote camera work for the last five years. It has become a passion without a cure. A few weeks ago I hiked up to an elk wallow where I had a video camera since early September. I captured some footage of a spike that is very similar to some footage of a yearling from September of 2009. You may have seen the prior footage before.

  Off The Pavement  

This footage was captured with a Sony HC40 camcorder. I use the LANC connection to connect the camcorder to the control board which turns the camera on, captures a one minute video, and turns the camera off...unless IR heat and motion continues.
