I have a Cannon Rebel 2000 with the following lenses:

   28mm
   35-80mm
   75-300mm

My Question is will these lenses interchange with a digital camera and if so which camera should I purchase?  I'd like to take wildlife shots and movies if possible as well as grandkids and the like.  I'm a bit camera challenged, and am sorry if this is a stupid question.  I'd like the digital for posting on the net. otherwise I'm happy with the Rebel except for the movies part.
If they will work can you recommend a camera in the $400-$600 range or close to that?
Thanks,  Bill    :help:

William....I use the same lenses that I used on my Cannon EOS film Body on my Cannon 20D. My wife also has a Rebel in both Film and Digt. that she switches her lenses on. so to answer your question without getting into Physics, Yes the will interchange with no problems for us hobbyist.

I think that the Cannon Reb would do all you would want, don't know what the price is on the Rebs now.

Vance,I'd like a digital and this seems to be the thing to do, since I have those lenses already.  Cost wise at least do you agree?

Bill you can use the pre digital lenses, however some of your camera features may not function. for instance your auto focus or TTL. i use several of my old lenses on my digital. my macro lens is one that i use a lot and i just can't see buying a new digital to replace this lens when i paid a small fortune for it.
