TCK Hidden Tang Rasp Knife. SOLD...

This is a hidden tang, Thayn Custom Knife made from ¼" rasp.

I am the builder and all the work from start to finish is done by me, in house, including the leather work.

The knife and sheath has a my lifetime guarantee.

The metal is annealed to work with then heat treated and tempered. This blade is right at 60 RC.

The overall length of the knife is 10 ¾"

The blade is 6" with 5" cutting surface.

The blade is 1 ¼" wide.

The blade geometry has a 9.5 degree flat grind and approximately 20 degree hand sharpened and honed edge.

 

It is a lined elk antler handle with brass furniture.

The sheath is 100% hand made and saddle stitched with basket weave and brass furniture, dark brown in color and right hand carry. The blade is shimmed to ride level in the sheath so the handle doesn't torque the belt loop.
