Time was, I'd come here and there'd be new prayer posts twice daily... now it goes weeks...

Where have all the warrior's gone?
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Still here....and praying..I check every day. I need to give an update on my wife. Prayers are working, she feels great and made it through surgery. Still very busy with the Drs and stuff. We go back to the oncologist Fri. for test results after surgery.

my apology Michael, I wasn't suggesting otherwise, but in the past months, the # of posts here has dropped so significantly, but I have met many individuals who follow this forum faithfully, but do not post... mia copa

          I don't visit this site as much as I used to Doc. I'll try to make a better effort on visiting more.

My kudos to those who continue to pray--without ceasing and without posting which isn't necessary, but we used to get 3-4 new prayer requests in any given day and many during a given week...

Surely, although I may have slighted Monk, I didn't mean to suggest people don't come, read, and pray for those who have posted, but it seems we've run out of folks who value our prayers... see some on PW, but fewer here then ever... just sorta made me wonder...  :(

I've seen over my years here some pretty powerful stuff happen thru the power of prayer.  I come to "pay it forward" but was simply stating it saddens me there are fewer requests...

Dave,
I knew what you meant and I concur.  Maybe folks have just exhaled a temporary sigh of relief that the Hildebeast won't be raising that right hand come Friday, lol.  No excuses though, Donnie is going to need all the prayers he can get.  Not my place to judge, but his knowledge of the gospel seems a bit "rudimentary" at this point, but I think he's teachable.  I believe a burning bush might get his attention, some I'm not so sure of!

Still praying every day, throughout the day.  I pray for those still with us, and for those who have ascended into God's kingdom.  May God Bless you and your families.

Prayers continue for the warriors among us...and prayers for more to believe and come post their needs

Doc:
No need for mia copa. I have also seen the shift in requests and wondering about it.

Not complaining at all but my prayer list is growing all the time it seems.

Have to admit, I'm most a PW follower but saw this today.

Bless those who ask and those who answer.

As stated above by others and acknowledged by me: I've met at shoots many who come, read, pray for posters and never post anything, feeling it's in God's hands...

Again, my intent, albeit not worded the best, was to lament that more folks aren't seemingly utilizing this to ask for prayers, not that folks aren't responding... Responding is personal and quiet prayers are heard by He who rules

Don't worry you old curmudgeon. We are still here. Now get back to eating your prunes and drinking your geritol.   :goldtooth:  Scott.

Hey doc, you ever think that everything is going well? Lol.
I still check in very infrequently due to lack of computer access. I am still here and praying for those in need and for those who don't yet know or think they need.
Relax,

You'll live longer!
