Today was the day scheduled for Dave Leuscher's heart by-pass surgery, then as reported, he crashed again Thursday last week and back in hospital Friday... ICU on Saturday... heard from him Monday his vitals were better ...no idea if surgery or not.

I txt to see today... "Darlene" replied... that he had surgery and reports from doc were that it "went well".  His vitals and such were relatively good and the doc decided it was "as good as it's going to get" so they went ahead with surgery.

His Daughter then txt later that they got in to see him but he was still sleeping.

Thank you, Jesus, for the progress so far.

Prayers continue for complete restoration and rehab to a active lifestyle!

Had a few texts back and forth with his wife on his phone and then his Daughter... they're to send me a picture of him being required to get out of bed today and sit up in a chair...

They took "the tube" out and he's doing relatively well for as weak as he was... I have a lousy old phone for txt so I don't get the full monty... but just so relieved to hear he's doing "ok".

Thank you, Lord! Please Lord, bring ole Dave to full recovery to sing your Praises.

The drew off fluid from Dave's lungs yesterday, and gave him stronger pain meds to alleviate the coughing pain...they want him to cough and get that fluid up if he can.

I got a note today from his daughter saying he's doing slightly better and the docs are hopeful he's "turning the corner".

Not out of the woods yet, or anywhere near getting back INTO the woods he loves, but it IS progress...

Thank you, Lord!!

I received a photo from Darlene yesterday showing Dave taking a little walk. He became very tired, but his readings were steady.

T,

I think Sara tried to send me a pic, but it didn't come thru my old phone... txt'd Dave today and he said things are going well at the moment...

Prayers continue...

Note from his Daughter, Sarah, that he's been released from ICU... still a long road, but progress continues.

Prayers continue as well!!
