Prayers for Ransom

Please pray for my youngest son Ransom, 3.  Two months ago he was diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma in his liver.  It is very rare for a child his age to have this type of liver cancer.

He's gone through three chemo treatments and has been home for the last few weeks.  However, we had to take him to the ER this morning, he was running a fever of 103 and it looks like he might have some kind of bacterial infection.  We won't know for sure till tomorrow.  

He had a CT scan last week and there was significant shrinkage in the tumors in  his lungs and in his liver.  However, the doctor/s told us "his chances aren't good, but they're not zero".

My heart goes out to you and your family.  That just ain't 'right' for a kid to have to battle that illness.

You can tell from my 'tag line' that life-limited or life-challenged kids break my heart!

I will keep your son, you and your wife and family in my prayers.

Lord in your Mercy... be with these people and bring young Ransom thru this whole and able to witness to your healing touch. Amen.

Thank you everyone for your prayers for Ransom.  Since we brought him back from his 5th round of chemo last week he has undergone quite a change for the better.  His stomach looks normal (the swelling has gone done almost completely) his energy levels are way up and he is eating so much better.  We are so very thankful.
