Prayers for a trouble free procedure/recovery would be greatly appreciated.  She is having a routine hysterectomy (if there is such a thing as "routine"), but is pretty frightened since she has never had so much as a broken bone.  I'm lucky to be able to get time off from work to be with her and our four kids but it will still be stressful on her to be laid up for a couple of weeks.

Thanks in advance!

Let me be the first to wish you and her our best. My wife had a hysterectomy one year ago today (cancer). It will take you both awhile to get used to the hot flashes that will come. She she doing the DaVinci? I tease my wife about her love for dogs has her acting like one... she has her head out the window as we are driving down the road in the winter due to a hot flash. You will be in our prayers tonight.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

I echo your sentiments if there is anything "routine" about getting a woman's plumbing taken out...so for sure: PRAYERS for His will to be a simple procedure, no complications and a good recovery!

Sounds like she went through the surgery well and is now heading to the recovery room.  Thanks for your prayers!

My wife had a hysterectomy 20-plus years ago.
With todays new tecnology, the procedure and recovery are much better. All my best.
